It’s been at least five months, since I posted anything, and I hope to be back soon. Without going into a lot detail, the last several months have not been good for me – healthwise, that is. I went out on disability, retiring from work at the age of 49. And, while I am home more now than when I was working, I have had little energy to look at or even think about the computer. Before Christmas rolled around, I also did little to no baking in the last few months.
I did do a little baking over the Christmas season and took some photos of what I baked. I hope to post those pictures soon as well as get back to reading and responding to other people’s posts.

I have had this blog for almost a month now, and I have to say that I am really enjoying the experience of it all. It’s a wonderful melding of journaling and online chatting wrapped in a diverse all-inclusive encyclopedia/almanac. This has been a fun and educational diversion for me while I am home on medical leave.
While I started this blog to keep track of my reflections on baking, I quickly got caught up in reading the diverse topics which others are posting. I am still learning some of the ins and outs of maintaining my blog. That said, as I repost, pingback, etc., other posts and other bloggers’ work, please forgive any failure on my part to properly give credit to those who deserve it.
